Guncan Plastik pursue modern technological developments in packaging material industry, and focuses on:
-effective risk-based training programs,
-offering sustainability,
-answering customer needs and expectations by ensuring quality, food safety and environment protection, employee health and safety,
-transmitting and/or requesting information about food safety to the public, consumers and suppliers,
-protecting and offering quality and reliable products, environment and employee health and safety, and
-continuous improvement .

In this sense, we guarantee to comply with the national and international regulations and the standards represented by our system, to continuously improve efficiency and to achieve the following sub-policies.

HACCP, HYGIENE PRACTICES POLICY

This policy aims to perform physical, chemical and biological food safety, hazard and risk analyses for all the stages of the products we offer to our customers and to ensure reliable production in compliance with the rules of the system by monitoring, controlling and confirming Critical Check Points in support of an efficient hygiene management

ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Environment policy means to establish a natural, continuous and efficient environment awareness for Planning and Application stages. Our goal is to convey the environment policy to our customers, suppliers, employees and all other relevant parties, and to contribute to the establishment of an environmental awareness by the relevant parties.

SMOKING AND EATING POLICIES

It is prohibited to eat or smoke in production and storage areas and changing rooms. The signs that indicate this prohibition are placed on clearly visible points. Visitors and subcontractors are ensured to comply with this rule.

POLICY OF ENTRANCE TO PRODUCT AREA

Our visitors and suppliers wear special aprons and bonnets and are subject to visitor check list in order to enter to the production areas.

FOREIGN BODY AND SHARP OBJECT POLICIES

The use of glass, frangible plastic, wooden and wire materials is abolished in the production areas in order to prevent foreign materials which may cause physical contagion. The present glass, frangible plastic and metal materials and equipments are taken under protection. Craft knives are utilized and regularly controlled where their use is necessary.

EMPLOYEE HEALTH CHECK POLICY

The personnel are periodically subjected to check-ups. They are removed from the production area by the production manager in case of contagious illnesses, upper respiratory infections, diarrhea, nausea, coughing and sneezing, and are directed to health checks. The necessary processes are monitored and such employees are allowed to enter to the production area after their treatment is completed.
